The DRESS

BOYS!! HELP MAKE GIRLS NOT FEEL LIKE THIS! :

First I wanted to give a small side note- Thanks everyone for your birthday wishes! And also thanks for anyone who came to the game! The show up was huge, and we got to see our bruins win a big game.  :)

This post is inspired by one of my friends waiting to get asked.
This is a blogpost about the process of..... (drum roll please)

HOMECOMING

Every girl goes through this. A lot are still going through this. The anxiety of waiting for someone to ask them. It's a hard time because all your friends are getting asked. So you pick the guy, have your friends do their best to get him to ask you, and then wait.

Now comes the real dilemma.

Do I buy a dress now before they are all gone just in case I get asked?
VS
Do I wait to buy a dress and risk not getting a good one?

And another problem! The hours spent to find one! (Like when I went with Heidi yesterday it was considered fast for us to take 3 hours...)
Now ladies.
When life gives you dilemmas, make dilemmonade!
Don't buy a dress "just in case", but have a back up dress in case you don't find one. Use something you used in the past, or a friends, a siblings, anyones! Most people are more than happy to let you borrow one of their dresses :)

NOW TO TALK ABOUT THE
"UTAH PROBLEM"

In any other state, the boy approaches the girl (or calls her), asks her, and then the girl says yes or no. Who ever started all this production stuff in Utah is a... not so intelligent person. Why does the boy have to ask in this big way? And why do we have to answer in a big way? In all reality, a girl just really wants to go to the dance. Even if you choose not to do something big, she wants to get asked. Yesterday I helped answer Heidi's date, and ask Nate's date. I realized two things, it is really fun to go all out BUT it is a lot of work. I wish Utah was less like this. I wish the boy could just ask, plain and simple. So many boys would actually ask and want to go (Am I right?)

So boys- if your holdup is not wanting to ask some big creative way, you really should reconsider. I promise any girl just wants to get asked! Even just a phone call! :)

Now because Fieldstead told us to tell  the girls,
WHEN A GUY ASKS YOU, HE IS NOT ASKING FOR MARRIAGE
If you make a guy feel like that, he won't ask you! Remember it's a high school dance :)

The two last things i'd like to say are,

GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE HOMECOMING NOMINEES (and good luck in the lunch time activities you'll have to do!)

and

BOYS ASK THOSE GIRLS, and HAVE FUN :)

AND MY NEW FAVORITE SONG :) (Thanks Heidi, Nate, and Kyle!!)
